I’m sure, you are aware that the month is October, but are you aware that October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month? Are you aware that we are in the midst of a pandemic within a pandemic? COVID-19 and Domestic Violence. Are you aware that domestic violence numbers have increased during COVID-19? Are you aware that conditions at home for victims and their children have worsened?
Are you aware that many domestic violence shelters are now full and are working with a very limited amount of resources and/or funding? Are you aware that domestic violence will not end because the month of October ends?
Are you aware that women are running for their lives daily? Are you aware that women are abused and killed daily? Are you aware that men are also victims of domestic abuse?
